My name is Scott Aughney. Welcome to the campaign website for my candidacy for Jackson County Sheriff.

On this website I will share with you a little background about myself, motives for running for this office, and most significantly, what my intentions and goals are when elected as Jackson County Sheriff.

The office of County Sheriff is an administrative position. However, the County Sheriff sets the tone with regards to law enforcement and the department’s interaction with county and local jurisdictions. This pertains to both the public at large and other public officials.

More detail information will be posted in audio/video clips, brief written summaries, downloadable PDFs, and announcements.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me for your Sheriff in Jackson County, Michigan.
